Chicago-Style Hot Dog Inspired Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 slices izzio Organic Everything Sourdough
    2 all-beef or veggie hot dogs
    1/2 white onion, cut into wedges
    6 grape tomatoes
    6 pepperoncini or sport peppers
    2 dill pickle spears
    celery salt
    yellow mustard, for serving
    wooden skewers

Instructions

  • Step 01
    Toast izzio Organic Everything Sourdough, if desired. Cut each slice into 6 pieces, about 1-in x 1 in cubes.
  • Step 02
    Clean and grease grill grates. Grill hot dogs and onion until charred. Remove from grill and cut into 1-inch pieces.
  • Step 03
    Halve grape tomatoes and pepperoncini. Cut dill pickle spears into 1-inch pieces.
  • Step 04
    Assemble skewers with one of each ingredient. Place on serving platter, dust with celery salt and serve with yellow mustard for dipping.
