Deviled Egg Crostini

Ingredients

1 izzio Organic Demi Baguette
6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp dijon mustard
Salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste
Chives and paprika, for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 01
    Slice izzio Organic Demi Baguette into 1/2 inch slices and toast until golden brown.
  • Step 02
    Slice eggs in half and add yolks to a medium bowl. Add mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, and hot sauce and mix until homogenous.
  • Step 03
    Slice egg whites into thin pieces for topping.
  • Step 04
    Pipe or spread yolk filling onto crostini and top with as many white slices as you’d like- up to one egg white half for a traditional flavor balance or less for a yolk filling-forward bite.
  • Step 05
    Garnish with fresh chives and paprika.
