Ingredients

  • 2 slices izzio Ancient Grains Sourdough Sandwich Bread
  • ½ Persian cucumber
  • ½ small avocado
  • 2 tbsp garlic hummus
  • 1 oz broccoli sprouts
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Step 01
    Toast 2 slices of izzio Artisan Bakery Ancient Grains Sandwich Bread.
  • Step 02
    Thinly slice cucumbers and add to small bowl. Squeeze juice of one lemon wedge, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Step 03
    Thinly slice avocado and season with salt.
  • Step 04
    Once bread is toasted, spread both slices with garlic hummus.
  • Step 05
    Assemble sandwich, starting with avocado, followed by marinated cucumber and broccoli sprouts. Serve immediately.
