Feta Eggs in a Hole

Ingredients

2 slices izzio Lucky 7 Multigrain Sourdough
2 eggs
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp crumbled feta, plus more for serving
salt, to taste
red pepper flakes, for serving

Instructions

  • Step 01
    Cut the center of 2 slices of izzio Lucky 7 Multigrain Sourdough using a 2-inch cookie cutter. Remove centers and reserve for another time.
  • Step 02
    Place skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, add bread and fry until golden brown.
  • Step 03
    Flip bread and add feta in holes. Carefully crack one egg into each hole and season with salt. Cover and cook until whites are set.
  • Step 04
    Remove from heat and garnish with red pepper flakes and additional feta to taste.
