Ingredients

2 slices izzio Rustic Potato Sourdough
1 5oz can tuna in olive oil
½ tbsp capers
1 tbsp sliced kalamata olives
1 tbsp sliced shallot
2 tbsp fresh, tender herbs (like chives, parsley, or dill)
1 tsp dijon mustard
Juice of ½ lemon
A dash of hot sauce
6 large basil leaves

Instructions

  • Step 01
    Toast Izzio Artisan Bakery Rustic Potato Sourdough.
  • Step 02
    In a medium bowl, combine tuna, capers, olives, shallot, herbs, dijon, mustard, lemon juice and hot sauce. Mix to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Step 03
    Once bread is golden, remove from toaster. Place 3 large basil leaves on each slice of bread, then top with tuna salad. Serve immediately.
